- JKJarrod KilgoreOct 19, 20251.0What a joke … walked up and no one was working - just standing around talking. I asked for a quick men’s cut on Sunday 10/19/25 at 4:18pm. The lady “went to check”, came back, and said I could schedule something and that they close at 6pm. I said “Right, that’s in an hour and a half.” She looked at me like I was crazy. Ridiculous! What do you have to do to find people who will work these days? *Update* - I drove to the Hillsborough Great Clips and walked in 15 mins before closing. The ladies were happy to give me a haircut and I gladly tipped extra for the great customer service. I was also out before they closed.

- ASAshley SydnorOct 1, 20251.0If a zero star was an option I would have selected zero. I have turned to jcp durham nc on several of occasions over the last few years. I recently went and service was horrible. I specifically requested the correct products to be used. I also instructed how my hair should be broken down in sections to deliver the highest potential of my style. My stylist failed me tremendously. The extra amount of heat that was used should have left my hair flawless. The $100 paid should have been well over worth it. I have NEVER paid $100 for a wash/condition blow and press. My hair was left full of oil and extremely stiff. The next day I called and spoke with management. She welcomed me back to get it redone. The stylist did NOT REWASH MY HAIR however she sprayed my roots with water and blow dried then put flat iron to it. 1HR+ AGAIN and it was still horrible! I had immediate death in my family so I had to take what I could get as I was trying to prepare for the services the following day. The services received over the last year has unfortunately been a 2/10! I DO NOT recommend ANY of my family nor friends to use The streets of southpoint salon services for ANY of their hair needs WITH THE EXCEPTION of Emmanuel. I have reached out to cooperate with NO CALL BACK and NO resolution. I totally feel manipulated and mishandled. -Best Regards, Ashley

She took my heat damaged curly hair and worked wonders making me feel so cared about in the process! I left with healthy hair, tips to manage my hair and feeling celebrated. 10/10 and will def be coming back because she went above and beyond to give me the best experience!!
