- JMJonathan MurphyJan 7, 20262.0Just got my haircut by Areyna (spelling may be off) this afternoon. In short, she hit on me the entire time and it was extremely uncomfortable. She continually tried to make suggestions about how I should get my hair cut and I told her I wanted it the way I asked, before she went on to cut the back the way she wanted anyways. I finally said “I have a date tomorrow so I want it a certain way”. She then proceeded to tell me my date wasn’t paying attention to my looks and I should show my girlfriend pictures of her to make her jealous. She also continued to ask questions about what my girlfriend looked like and told me that my girlfriend “wasn’t looking at my hair, she was looking at my eyes. you have pretty eyes”. this whole time I was pretty unresponsive and was visibly uncomfortable. At the end she went on to cut my beard/sides the way she wanted without asking my permission, and then asked what shirt I’d be wearing for my date tomorrow night. at this point I told her I’d prefer not to talk about this. the cut looks fine even though the stylist was disrespectful and did not listen to my requests or ask my consent on taking liberties. the only reason this isn’t a 1-star is because Hailey and Dani are excellent stylists (in conversation and technical abilities). this location isn’t all bad and they redeem it, but I will never have Areyna cut my hair again. highly unprofessional

- MCMatty ClemNov 28, 20251.0At first I thought the gentleman who cut my hair was simply having a bad day after not responding to a simple “how are you” greeting. No big deal, everyone has a bad day. It turns out he just could not stand talking to me, because he then proceeded to have a full on conversation with the stylist next to him about their Starbucks drinks and the little inside jokes they had going on, and this continued for the entire haircut. He did not say a word to me other than asking “Same as last time?” It just seemed unprofessional to not even attempt small talk with your client, and even more unprofessional to carry on a conversation with another stylist the whole time. I will still use Great Clips, but I will never return to this location.
