Very disappointed with our most recent experience. My husband and I visited a while back and loved the VIP, quiet room experience. It was a differentiating factor for us in booking again for my birthday two Fridays ago. We both took off work and brought books to enjoy the quiet room and relax a bit after our massages. The Quiet room was SO loud and crowded. We did find two seats in the corner and hoped it would quiet down as people were moved out, but it never did. People weren't even whispering, they were talking at full volume, and several staff came and went with not one person attempting to enforce the expectations for the space. It was so disappointing that we had to just leave. I told the lady at the front about it and she just said "yeah...it can get pretty loud back there." What a waste when we could have booked elsewhere.

Amazing. From start to finish. Soothing atmosphere. Very clean with the right touch of decor. Professional staff from the front desk to the waiter and waitresses providing service. The lounge room was just that. The couches and pillows were soft and fresh. The drinks and refreshments were very fulfilling. Addie was a true professional from start to finish; polite, respectful, and full of joy. Addie even let me spin around in the VIP area because she was confident that I would return for more. Nick was a true magician of his craft. He ensured the areas were clean, drinks were filled and all ask were met. He did it all very silently ensuring not to disturb. Nick seemed to enjoy every aspect of his job which says a lot. Now for the main course, KIMBI! She was pure bliss. Even her voice was blissful when instructing her movements and wereabouts. The moment she touched me, I was hooked. I swear she took me on a mystical path that ended in "YES LAWD!" She used the right techniques and pressure. I swear I was on a blissful roller-coaster. I went left, right, up, down, back and forth. We went through it all and I enjoyed every motion of her potion. And the Eucalyptus scent as tou inhaled and exhaled just topped the cake. Don't take it from me though, go experience it for yourself. You won't regret it!

The spa itself is truly beautiful and well-designed, and I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. However, my overall experience didn’t fully meet the expectations I had. At times, the visit felt a bit rushed and lacked clear guidance, which made it harder to fully relax. I found myself feeling like I needed to move quickly through each step, rather than being able to settle into a calm, unhurried experience. While my masseuse was kind, I was hoping for a bit more focus on the areas I noted on my intake form. Overall, I was really looking forward to a slower, more serene experience to truly unwind. While there were certainly positive aspects, I’m not sure the service aligned with the price point for me.

Highly recommended by locals, but a crowded, unclean, and disappointing experience. Having lived in Charlotte for over 15 years, this Woodhouse Spa location was highly recommended to me by many friends. I have been to spas all over the world, so I had high expectations, but unfortunately, this visit was one of my least favorite experiences. Things started out wonderfully—when you first walk in, the front area looks great, smells amazing, and has a relaxing vibe. However, everything after the waiting room was a huge letdown. Once we were taken to the back, the experience completely shifted. I understand that visiting on a Sunday means the spa will naturally be busier than on a weekday, but it felt like they were funneling way too many people through at once. The area where guests get ready is incredibly small. Because of the high traffic, it felt cramped and very unclean—specifically the floors. They desperately need someone back there cleaning more frequently on their busy days. For my treatment, I booked an 80-minute Deep Tissue session for $300. Even though I explicitly asked for deeper pressure, the therapist gave me what felt like a standard Swedish massage. To make matters worse, throughout the massage, I could clearly hear all the foot traffic and noise outside the door, which was incredibly disruptive. For a spa proclaiming high-end luxury, they need to have a much better sense of the difference between deep tissue and Swedish, as well as a quiet environment. The disappointment continued after the treatment. When my friend and I went into the relaxation room, there were zero seats available. The staff had actually placed name cards on the empty chairs to reserve them for other people, leaving those of us coming out of our massages with nowhere to sit. After an 80-minute session, you want to put your feet up and take a load off, but we ended up having to stand while we drank our post-massage water. To top it all off, the checkout process was awful. The receptionist gave me practically no eye contact. She didn't ask how my session was, didn't ask for feedback, and didn't offer to rebook me. She simply stated my total was $300 and asked if I wanted to use the card on file. I declined, gave her a different card, and asked to add a 20% gratuity, bringing the total to $360. She processed it without even looking at me or telling me the payment went through. I just stood there waiting until I finally had to ask her if we were done, to which she just said "yes." Overall, an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish. I would not recommend it.

I visit this spa every year on my birthday and it’s usually a wonderful experience, but this time was very different. I arrived for my appointment at 2:07 (I was running late, which was my fault). When I checked in, I was greeted by the front desk associate who said her name was McKenzie. Unfortunately, the greeting felt very rude and unwelcoming. I was taken to the changing room and then to the quiet room. When I arrived in the quiet room, there was no “happy birthday platter,” which I am typically given each year. After my massage, which was wonderful, my massage therapist brought me back to the quiet room and mentioned she wasn’t sure what happened or why the platter was missing. She suggested it may have been because I arrived late, but said she would request one for me. I then waited about 30 minutes before I had to ask someone for an update. Eventually the platter was brought out. After that, I changed and went to the front desk to check out. The same associate was there, and there was some back and forth regarding the card on file. Her tone and attitude felt very dismissive and slightly rude. I also did not receive the birthday gift I usually get. I believe it’s an exfoliation brush. I’m not sure if that’s something you’ve stopped doing, but it was always a nice touch. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth, especially since it was my birthday. Because of this, I will likely not be returning. I would let your front desk staff know that the experience starts with them and being rude isnt cute.
