  I’ve been coming here for years, and Pooran has always taken incredible care of me. It’s rare to find that kind of consistency and personal attention these days. Highly recommend them.The team here seem all been hand picked,they all so caring and pay special attention to all small details from the moment you step in till they say goodbye to you.

  Poza Salon is easily the best salon in Charlotte. I first found them through a friend after a box dye disaster turned my hair jet black. They somehow worked their magic and brought me back to the warm, highlighted brown I love, without destroying my hair. The whole team is friendly, professional, and genuinely fun to be around. And now that they make their own amazing coffees I don’t even bother stopping at Starbucks anymore. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

  I came in from Charleston for my son’s wedding and was desperate to find the perfect hairstyle. I didn’t know anyone in town — but from the moment I met Pooran at Poza Salon, I felt like I was in the safest, most caring hands. Pooran went above and beyond by offering pre-event consultations and even a “practice session” of the hairstyle (the “do”) before the big day. She wanted to make sure every curl, every angle, every finish was exactly right — and she genuinely cared about how I would look and feel. This wasn’t just a one-off appointment; she made sure I felt confident and prepared well ahead of time. During the practice, she listened deeply — to my concerns, to the vision I had, and to what I hoped people would see when they looked at me. She offered adjustments, options, and guidance. Because of that rehearsal, on the wedding day I wasn’t anxious about my hair — I already trusted the look, the process, and the person behind it. On the day of, she and her staff were a soothing, joyful presence. I laughed, I teared up with nerves and emotion — and Pooran even offered me a glass of wine when I needed to steady myself as the mother of the bride. She had asked to see my outfit ahead of time and curated a hairstyle that matched my dress, my personality, and how I wanted to be seen. From start to finish, it felt like a deeply personal, thoughtful experience. I walked out of Poza Salon feeling luminous, self-assured, and grateful beyond words. Pooran and her team are uncompromising in their talent, compassion, and dedication — they turned what could have been a stressful day into a beautiful memory.

  I am not from charlotte area , I was there for a wedding and a relative suggested Proza salon. I have short curly unmanageable hair. The senior stylist (Pooran) took time to know my hair and my needs and lifestyle, and suggested a specific haircut for me. 5 weeks later I’m still enjoying the haircut and dreading going back to my regular stylist in New England. pooran is an amazing stylist . She knows her craft and she is extremely skilled. Her staff were all very accommodating to me since I made my appointment only a couple days before, they fit me in on the day I wanted and I now have a totally new hairstyle that I love and enjoy. I recommend this salon and Pooran highly and will be visiting them every time I’m in Charlotte.
