- MJmanjula jayasekara5 days ago4.0This is my go-to place. I usually get good haircuts from the long-term barbers who work here, and I have never had any issues before. Today, I went in for a haircut and was assisted by a new barber whom I had not seen before. There is one concern I would like to bring to your attention. The main hair clipper barber used still had another customer's hair on it, which means it had not been properly disinfected. Kindly remind the barbers about the importance of properly disinfecting their tools and the serious illnesses customers can potentially get from using uncleaned clippers.Thank you.
- RRRajMar 28, 20261.0Traumatic! Not reflection on all the staff that work there but definitely a reflection on a particular staff that gave me a haircut today. Her name is R**in. Checked in for myself and plus one (my kid). My kid has never had a haircut there and he is not in the system and I didn’t know that everyone that needs a haircut needs a profile. This could have been a simple explanation to me with a smiling face but she made the conversation very confrontational and had a temper to a point where my kid was getting scared to get the hair cut. She was visibly very angry and frustrated! I was worried with her temperament and hesitated to get a haircut. I have been here before several times and it was OK but this one staff ruined the customer service I have had here so far. People in such service business should have some patience. Not all your customers are going to know that everyone getting a haircut needs a profile. I am never going back ever to Great Clips Apex!

She was so sweet, patient, and took her time to make sure everything was perfect. I really appreciated how calm and attentive she was throughout the whole process. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
