  This was such a horrible experience. My mom booked an appointment for my birthday… we were told to wait for our appointment. Our stylist was running late. That was fine. We were running late too. But it got later and later . Finally.. we were told the stylist called in. Okay, then they held a group meeting on who wanted us. One lady name Ty took. I thought that was sweet. She asked me what I wanted. I showed her a picture. I asked her opinion. She said balayage. When we were done I told my mom “ it’s fine..I like it” but she could tell that I didn’t. I got to the car and cried. The lady didn’t seem to want to help but said I could have it darker if I booked another appointment. It was my 14th birthday. I don’t want to step foot in JCpenny salon again. Photos below .. what I wanted first. What I got

  I originally booked for a wash and flat twist for $75 because I couldn’t get an appointment with my normal stylist. However, upon arrival, I was told by the stylist that she could not flat twist even though she had it listed as one of her services. I really needed a wash so I decided to still get a wash. I asked her if she could just braid my hair in two braids (no hair added) and she stated that she could. She did an amazing job washing my hair. However, the style was horrible. Nevertheless, I wasn’t worried because my hair was clean so I planned to just pay the $75 and go see my normal stylist later. When I got to the register, the stylist told me my total was $155. Obviously, I was shocked and confused. The stylist never told me about any extra fees and the style I received was not worth the money. However, the salon was about to close and there was not a manager available for me to speak with so I paid with the intentions on calling the manager the next day. I have now spoke with the manager several times and even sent photos of my hair. She was supposed to contact me with a resolution almost two weeks ago (11 days). However, I have not heard anything. I will never use this salon again. I should have been told about any extra fees before my services were started. I am not satisfied at all.

  I had an appointment with Stacey. Once I arrived, I had to wait thirty minutes past what my appointment was set. I showed her several pictures of what I wanted, and even some pictures of how my hair was when I liked it. She began to cut and style it to the side despite the cut being in the middle. She took off three months of hair growth. She did not blend the back, and she cut it the way she would cut a girl's. She also bragged on herself a lot even before she was finished. She was polite at least, but she can not cut white men's hair very well.

  I had got my hair done here a couple of months ago for the first time and it was very disappointing. First off the stylist didn’t do what I asked with the color of my hair. I asked for lighter and she made it darker. Then I asked for a lot of layers but she cut my hair so short and didn’t give me very many layers at all. My entire visit was 3.5 hours! Ridiculous!!! I have never spend that much time in a salon! Ever!!! Don’t go here if you have other things to do during the day. You will not be able to get them done. On top of that I had a 20% off coupon for new clients and they refused to accept it. Talk about customer service, I will not be back.
