  I had my first appointment with Chris. He was amazing! Genuinely, this is the best haircut I have ever had. We talked through what I wanted with the cut thoroughly. He even gave a little scalp massage when washing my hair. The vibe of the salon was welcoming and colorful. Overall great experience, and I will be recommending to others.

  Chris was amazing! I have fine, curly hair and my curls have never looked so voluminous! I love the welcoming, eco- friendly vibe. Super reasonably priced for the talent and cute space.

  I’m a contracted medical worker, so I travel all over for my job. However, Missouri is my home state. When I got a contract at BJC last March, I also needed a hair salon, since I try to maintain every 6 weeks or so. Initially, I was staying with my Sister and her family in Webster Groves, so I did a little Google search for Hair Salons. Locke Hair popped up with amazing reviews. So I made my first appointment, booking with Chris. I absolutely loved the interior of the building. It is decorated with the most random art and objects. I’m constantly looking around at all the different curio and objets d’art. The employees and clients are always smiling and there’s such an all around good vibe. So many clientele walk out of the chair looking amazing, upbeat and confident. That is how I feel when I leave and I’m not normally a very confident person. Chris takes his time making sure each step is perfect. Usually when I go to places and get an undercut (I have very thick hair), the stylist uses the clippers and just does a quick, basic shave. Chris always sits down and spends a good 5-8 minutes making sure the fade looks perfect before moving on with the wash or cut. He is an absolute perfectionist which is always appreciated when it comes to the hair. One visit, I wanted highlights and I have natural dark auburn hair (used to be bright red.) He worked meticulously making sure the colors blended well and I got so many compliments! It made me feel really great! Chris is also a great conversationalist. I have different interests and he can pick up and talk about anything. It’s great to be able to talk about a wide range of topics with your stylist! Never a dull moment for sure! I’m super sad to be leaving the area soon for another contract…but I’m so happy that I found Locke Hair and Chris. I’ve never felt better about myself and my hair! I may have to fly back and forth to properly maintain my coiffure! Recommend a million times over!!
