  Nichelle is amazing hands down the best! She listens to exactly what you want, gives great advice and tips, and always gets my haircut just right. She’s not only skilled but also very friendly and welcoming. If you need a haircut, definitely ask for Nichelle!

  I had a very disappointing experience here. I clearly explained that I’m growing my hair out and only wanted a light trim on top with a low taper on the sides. Instead, the barber first started cutting it into a mullet style, which is not what I asked for at all. When I pointed it out, she tried to fix it, but the correction ended up making the haircut worse. The sides were cut much shorter than requested and the blend looks uneven. When someone is trying to grow their hair out, removing that much length can set the process back by weeks. I took time to explain exactly what I wanted before the haircut, so it was frustrating to see my instructions ignored. I hope the shop listens more carefully to customers and confirms the style before cutting so this doesn’t happen to others.

  We had a really bad experience during our last visit. I had haircut for myself and my son and for both of us the hair dresser messed up the haircut. Now we will have to wait for few months to grow hair and get a good haircut. It seems Great clips is just hiring anyone and letting them give haircuts to its clients

  I walked in this Great Clips at 6:24 pm on Friday. I was hoping to get a trim of my normal style and freshen it up for Valentine's day. When I walked in two women were present. One was cutting a gentlemen's hair and the other was sitting in one of the salon chairs.. I said "Hi, I'd like to get a haircut". The woman in the chair didn't say anything immediately but looked up at the wall with a perturbed look on her face. I said " If there's a problem I'll come back". She got up , walked over to the computer and very rudely and in a demanding way said " First name?" This went on as I gave my info and she was not even trying to hide her unhappy attitude that I guess she didn't want to do a haircut? It was so obvious and so rude all I could think is this is not going to be a good nor pleasant experience much less haircut. So, I said " Nevermind , Ill just come back another time." She appeared satisfied that her attitude was received. I don't know about anyone else but iny day we weren't allowed to be rude to customers because we're not in the mood to work. I was a waitress part time for over 20 years. If I treated people like this I'd have been bankrupt. My attitude directly affected my income. It had its days where you're not thrilled but never would it have flown to just be downright rude and treat a potential customer and really , really good tipper like I'm inconveniencing your business with my money. I see this in several establishments ad I make it a point to not return. Theres businesses where this doesn't happen. That's where my money will be spent. Too bad it's right in the heart of Maryland Heights! I love this town and have for over 20 years! Come on! Do better! Or please. Please spare the public of the rude factor! Don't pay for that people!
