I have been progressively losing my hair since I was 15 years old and as someone who grew up with long and thick hair it started as a chunk here and a chunk there, and over time it became impossible to hide. I had tried everything: sprays, tinted fibers, dying my hair light to hide the difference, even the classic comb over. Anything to not look like I had “fake hair”. As a woman no one prepares you for the confidence blow that happens when you lose your hair and most people are afraid to even talk to you about because they know it’s a sore point. I have struggled to find a solution for years until today. I walked in to Hair Loss Solutions and was politely greeted by Chrissy. She walked me through tons of options being patient and answering all my questions. I described my “old” hair to her as well. I told Chrissy I had tried toppers but they didn’t look right or didn’t hold with my lack of hair and she found the perfect solution with a special topper. I cried out when I saw myself with hair again in the mirror, I couldn’t help it and we knew I found “the one”. Chrissy then styled the hair, walked me through taking it on and off until I was a pro, taught me how to care for it and helped me get all the products. Chrissy’s talent far outweighed just finding the right hair piece as she made me feel seen, heard, and taken care of and I can never thank her enough. It feels vulnerable to share something so personal but I hope this finds the woman or girl that needs to know someone like Chrissy exists out there and if you are on the fence I would jump at the chance but just years sooner.
