Since you want more details, the location has already been open two hours and I haven’t heard ANYTHING from the manager (Felisha something?) and it’s not my responsibility to call. I drove basically an hour to this location because it’s the one I normally prefer. I get there and find out my stylist called in for the day. AND I did not receive a phone call to reschedule or claiming it to be canceled. I want a discount on the service I was supposed to have. Because honestly it should be half off for the major inconvenience and rudeness of this employee. First she could “try to call someone” next it was “can’t do anything about it” 🤷🏼♀️ The lady at the counter (Lacey Craven) didn’t even apologize and told me she couldn’t do it because she was “booked” yet had posted openings on her personal Facebook page. She personally did my hair the last time and straight up told me she didn’t want to do my service and wrote down the other two employees names because she was tired of doing the particular service. She 10000% blew me off. Then she proceeded to blame the system because it was “down” so she couldn’t call and cancel yet it was supposedly working FINE to rebook?!? The stories aren’t aligning Lacey. This was supposed to be for my wedding so thank you for ruining it, and not bothering to reach out. ☺️☺️

I went in last week for a haircut and the haircut itself is just fine. I’m grateful for that. My issues though — first, $40 for just a quick wash (no head massage), simple cut & blow dried 90% of the way. I was in and out in roughly 40 minutes. No products or hair tools offered, which is really annoying for the high price and the fact that I got bangs, so they weren’t fixed or properly checked if done right & I had to still walk through the entire mall with it not done. My other issue — the girl started to wash my hair and then proceeded to tell me how she is sick. She did Christmas with her mom & her mom was sick, so she felt physically awful but came in because they were busy. She was going to call in the next day. If you’re sick, do NOT discuss it with your client. Just power through or (preferably) tell the client who walked in, “I’m sorry, we don’t have anyone available at the moment. I don’t feel well.” and go home. The last thing anyone wants is to be breathed all over and touched by someone who is sick, but especially when they KNOW they’re sick and still so open to you about it. Fortunately, I didn’t catch anything, which is really great because I was visiting family in town.

I found my new stylist! Mark in the salon is amazing. After having a baby and dealing with months of PPD and not really giving myself..especially my hair the love that it’s truly needed, my husband suggested getting a cut and seeing if it would help me feel better. I’m glad I did! I just did a walk-in at the JCP salon and got Mark. With me not knowing what I really wanted and explaining my situation and the issues I have with my hair, Mark took his time with me and did his own thing asking me my opinion along the way. My hair fits perfect with the frame of my face and he helped me to go a little out of my comfort zone with some long curtain bangs, and I LOVE them. His vision is amazing and I’ll be scheduling with him from now on.
