Admittedly I decided last minute I wanted to get my hair cut before an event and couldn’t find an appointment anywhere else. The stylist that cut my hair was an older woman who constantly argued everything I was asking for in a condescending tone like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I eventually just resided myself that I was going to get a mediocre cut and just wanted to get it over with and leave. HOWEVER, I could not have imagined how horrible this cut actually was! I have naturally wavy hair which for a few days obscured the worst of the cut. That is until I straightened my hair on Saturday for an event and saw clearly the absolute CHOP JOB that was done to my hair. The “layers” were thick awful chunks cut into my hair, the lines were crooked, and my “face frame” looked like a child lopped of pieces with a pair of scissors. I finally got an appointment elsewhere so I could get my hair fixed (love paying for something twice) and the stylist could not believe, with every section of hair she pulled up, that a licensed professional had actually done that to someone’s hair. I know you get what you pay for, but still, this was hands down the worst haircut I have ever had and I would actively discourage anyone from coming here.

Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
