  Worst service ever. Great Clips Website for Arbor Lakes advertises a March Madness sale of $12.99 Haircut. A code is needed that you can’t find nor does the stylist knows so didn’t get the sale price. The stylist Darnitia cut my hair as she saw fit even after I explained what I wanted. Argued with me that she was doing what I asked for. Didn’t get the haircut I wanted. Still too long on top. Her attitude was very confrontational. WORSE EXPERIENCE I have ever had at Great Clips. Will be looking for recommendations from family, friends, coworkers and or acquaintances for a better place to go.

  I'm not even sure what to say besides that was the worst experience ive had with someone in awhile. I didnt catch the woman's name but it started with a D and she was working today 2/6/26 at 1pm. This was a haircut for my AUTISTIC son who is 4 years old. She was rolling her eyes at him, stomping her foot and being snappy with him..... an autistic 4 year old who is sweet as pie (just has difficulty sitting still and needs reminding) He has never had a bad experience at Great Clips in regard to a staff member having difficulty talking to him/him staying still. From the beginning, she did not introduce herself to me or say ANYTHING to him. He sits down and she asks me if i want the same cut thats on record. I say "I kind of want a kid haircut to show his curls-" and she cuts me off and says "what's a kid haircut?? Idk what that is? Plenty of kids get different haircuts" and instead of explaining further, I just agreed to the one in the books. I figured she was having a bad day and didnt want to try to explain a haircut to someone who wasnt interested. She says nothing to him while cutting his hair besides 2 things. 1) After sighing and rolling her eyes, she says "keep your head straight if you want a nice haircut" in a slightly elevated voice. Which prompted me to understand she wasnt used to cutting kids hair that are neurodivergent. From there, I reminded him to keep a calm body, he was doing a great job and we were almost done. 2) When my son is uncomfortable, he says "im tired" and her response was "oh yeah? Im tired TOO". Mind you, this is the second thing she said to him the entire time, and the second rude thing said. She was rolling her eyes any time he moved, even slightly. With her terrible attitude, im proud of how my son dealt with the uncomfortable situation. And quite frankly, myself. Like I said before, he's never had a bad experience getting a haircut before. The hair stylists are always raving about how kind and funny he is. While working with his typical 4 year old attention span. I tipped her a couple dollars in hopes, she would understand how unhappy we were but I regret even tipping at all. Im not a confrontational person. So I didnt feel comfortable saying anything to her about her bad attitude. Again, I figured she was having a bad day. But someone who can treat literal children that way, should NOT be working with the public, let alone providing services for them. I am appalled this woman has a job with how rude she is. Needless to say, go somewhere else if you want to have a pleasant experience. Do better Great Clips.

  I had Sierra as my stylist and she did an amazing job! I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to cutting my hair, but she made me feel so comfortable. Very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of good tips for my super thin hair! Will definitely be back

  Was just there getting a standard haircut 2’s on the side 4’s on top. Most stylists will ruffle the hair up and go over it again, to catch stragglers. The one I had today made a huge deal about it when I asked. Then reluctantly did a very half-assed one over pulled the cape off without asking if things were good. I figured she was having a bad day so I left a tip, even though I’m now regretting that after getting home and noticing multiple spots she completely missed. I easily could have been rude back and ruined her day for throwing a fit over something so small but I chose not to. But now I’m stuck with a botched haircut and am pissed.. I’ve had some bad haircuts at Greatclips but this one is definitely the worst so far.
