My son is three - almost four. He never had an issue with haircuts until 6 months ago. He had a panic attack and wasn't able to get him to ever go back to the salon. But yesterday I asked him if he was interested. He said yes, but he wanted a sucker. So I promised him I would get him one if he was good. I called Great Clips in Fridley and talked to Eric on the phone. I knew they were an hour away from closing, but I asked them if they could squeeze us in. Eric said they could do it if I made it before 4:30pm. We made it with just 5 minutes to spare. They checked us in, and right away, we were introduced to Haider who was absolutely wonderful. Haider was so kind and so patient. He treated my little guy with a lot of respect and care. And at the end, my son was so proud of his "big boy haircut" and he really liked his friend, Haider. Long story, short. A big thanks to Eric and Haider at Great Clips who squeezed us in before close and now made my son comfortable with going to the salon again. We can't wait to come back. Thank you! By the way, my son was given two suckers by Haider and an awesome fist bump.
