I also asked the sideburns to be removed. (I had pretty thick hair.) The shampooing was fine. The end result came back quite of a mess. My sideburns weren't fully off, so one side kind of had a partial sideburn, and she did not cut an inch of the back of my hair. My hair is now uneven, and she didn't dry the hair all the way down, which meant that my hair was still partially wet. Even if I was undecisive in removing some things, it just seemed like she did not follow directions.
