- OAOscar AvilaOct 12, 20251.0I regret leaving a review because the lady who helped me seemed friendly, but after reading a few other reviews, it’s clear that my experience wasn’t unique. When I was seated, I explained my desired haircut and showed her a picture for reference. She even explained the process, and I felt confident that the end result would be what I’d hope for. Initially, the haircut went well. She was very chatty and friendly, but as the process progressed, I noticed that she was shaky and appeared to be struggling. There were moments when I felt her hand slip and clip parts of my hair that weren’t supposed to be. Towards the end, she tried to even out my sides, but she kept messing it up and going higher than I had originally requested. As a result, my sides and back ended up looking very choppy, and my hair didn’t resemble what I had asked for. I’ve never had an issue with haircuts at other locations, so I’m disappointed that this was my experience.

The stylist Tanya was nice although appeared to be shaky and nervous - repeating conversation points, and almost slurred or off talking. She couldn’t find my middle part… She kept checking her coworkers, and just overall nervous seeming. I couldn’t tell if she was drunk or intoxicated in some other way although she gave me a horrible haircut. I had to go to another place and the new stylist was shocked at how choppy my bangs were and that there were chunks of hair missing in the back...

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
