  I do love Aveda but it is way overpriced. I went in for a big sale of 25% off which was excellent. I had a very nice person help that got all my products for me and rang them up. What I found odd is that I spent over $300 and she asked me if I wanted a bag .......well, duh, I have a ton of products...... 5¢ please for the bag LoL...... c'mon Aveda how ridiculous and petty. Your save the planet is so phoney especially when I get orders shipped and included is 50 feet of paper for filler. How many trees did you chop down for that? I should've thrown the salesperson a quarter and told her to keep the change and buy yourself a couple bags to put over her head. What a joke

  You cannot exchange any gift items for something you can actually use even if a lesser value amount. I signed up for pure privilege to get a birthday discount on an item I use instead got a horrible smelly oil. If you don't make a purchase every year your account you paid for will be deleted. Wish they made all this fine print more clear. I only signed up after encouraged by a stylist to get an item of my choice on my birthday which was false. In general their salons and products are very overwhelming smell wise. I will switch to other products.

  Ariana was very helpful in assisting me with my concern, recommending products and demonstrating how to use them, and showing me the difference it made on my hair before the purchase. She went above and beyond in customer care, and had great knowledge in the products, and knew exactly what would help. It made an immediate difference! I was very impressed with her, and appreciated her help. Also, the ambiance of the store was very calming and the tea was a great bonus. Thank you very much.
