- HJHayli JonesOct 31, 20251.0Twice I’ve tried to come here, the first time my husband was told they don’t do wash and styles on the weekend. This time, middle of the week, completely dead in there. And as I’m checking in, because I did the online checkin stuff at home and drove up. they tell me they don’t even have curling irons to do a style. I’ve been doing a wash and style for a bit now as a self care fun at multiple different great clips. The wash and style is literally on the menu at every greatclips I’ve been to, and that includes three different ones in Utah, and two in Texas. Along with of course the Buffalo location here in Minnesota, which does an awesome job every time. But for some reason this Delano one can’t. Wasted my dang time and gas driving up there. 🙃 one of those, should have called situations, foolish of me to believe a chain store would have the same basic options everywhere…

When I replied “no,” she rolled her eyes and sighed saying, “Then I won’t be able to cut your hair even.” She yanked my head around as the roughly combed through my hair, which has now left my hair damaged on its ends. When giving me my receipt, I thought they did tips by percentages there, like every other haircut place I’ve been to. Clearly not. When handing the receipt back to her, she replied with “What the hell is this?” Overall, my experience at Great Clips in Delano was terrible and I will not be going back!

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
