- AAAlisonJun 19, 20251.0ZERO STARS! ZERO STARS! ZERO STARS! My daughter left work early for this hair appointment. We showed up for an appointment for my daughter’s hair—virgin hair that’s never been colored before. The stylist that she was booked with did not show up and so a different stylist, Mary, agreed to do my daughter’s hair. My daughter’s requests were a few small blonde highlights only half way through like if you put your hair a quarter/half up —and natural looking. As you can see in the picture her hair literally looks like tiger stripes. Orange, big, thick, highlights that bled as you can see and all throughout her hair. When we walked up to pay, the receptionist could blatantly see we were unhappy and my daughter started crying so much I had her go wait in the car. My daughter who has NEVER had her hair colored literally started crying..and cried the whole way home (45 mins). She cancelled her Friday birthday party and also the following morning was her birthday & Father’s Day and she wouldn’t leave the house. I paid— $200….yes, my mouth fell to the floor. They charged her $50 for a TRIM, an inch if even off, $20 extra for having long hair & $130 for the foils. I didn’t want to pay it…but there was no manager on, so thought I’d call them on Mon/Tues to tell them what happened and thought they'd give me a refund…like, c’mon look at her hair. I finally got ahold of Lynn the manager on Tuesday afternoon. She didn’t show any compassion or empathy. She said they’d ‘fix’ her hair, but my daughter’s not stepping back in those doors. Such a traumatic experience for a first time color to a 16 year old girl. By the time I talked to the manager we brought my daughter in to get her hair fixed else where—who felt so immensely bad that they squeezed her in ontop of their other clients. The manager Lynn was very dismissive, and said, ‘we don’t do refunds’…like what? I’m literally appalled. She finally agreed to give me the ‘credits onto my account’, for me. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 6 years to Lorna who does amazing and now we encounter literally the worst experience and customer service from the manager. So, I ended up spending much more on her hair than I ever should have. $130 x 3 sessions to just get the orange tiger stripes out of her hair without ruining it. -virgin hair -stylist not showing up -new stylist completely ruining virgin hair -ongoing treatments 1-3 more now to fix my daughters hair that will never be the same now. These treatments are $130 a piece. Hello..wake up. This is NOT okay. I feel so terrible for my daughter.
