Rowan is all about ears. We offer a fun, celebratory and safe piercing experience for everyone. All our piercings are done by licensed nurses and all our products are hypoallergenic. When we say “Piercing for All”, we mean it. Everybody is invited to this ear party.

The man who works there, I assume he is the manager, was so rude and dismissive. He was talking to a nurse and his conversation was obviously about another employee. It was awkward and unprofessional. The spray is overpriced and as I found out later you can get the same thing on Amazon for $12.

However, When arrived the staff looked over the documents for proof of id/age I had submitted 7 hours prior online. The manager denied us because her school id didn’t have the school year on the same page as her full name since her id is digital. I showed her proof of Birthdate on the School Parent Vue and her photo was same. There was absolutely no reason she couldnt have accepted the 3 forms of identification for a 14 year old. Complete terrible customer service and over priced jewelry! So disappointing.
- KHKatherine HokansonNov 4, 20251.0Went in to inquire about piercing costs, I was told it would be around $35 to get my doubles plus the cost of earrings, I found this reasonable. Came back later at my appointment and turns out I was told the wrong price initially, and it would be more expensive. I went ahead with it because I thought it would be worth it for a quality piercing. 3 weeks later, I follow all of the cleaning/care instructions and use the solution they have you buy (another $15). I try to take them out to switch them as I was told I could by this date but I was unable to remove the earrings and had to go to the doctor to get them removed with special tools. Both piercings were infected and had to be removed to prevent further harm. To summarize, I paid $161 for infected piercings that will probably close up in a week. I get the appeal of the store to families with younger children as the store has a more family friendly vibe than most piercing parlors, but it’s really not worth the extra cost.
