  I made an appt for my 14 year old daughter who had an amazing experience at her first piercing @ Electric Strawberry in StPaul but they were booked:( thought this place was a perfect option! However, When arrived the staff looked over the documents for proof of id/age I had submitted 7 hours prior online. The manager denied us because her school id didn’t have the school year on the same page as her full name since her id is digital. I showed her proof of Birthdate on the School Parent Vue and her photo was same. There was absolutely no reason she couldnt have accepted the 3 forms of identification for a 14 year old. Complete terrible customer service and over priced jewelry! So disappointing.

  Emma was amazing! I came in with my mom and her friend (they instigated this lol). Emma walked us through the piercing process, as well as healing and care. All super clear, easy to follow.

  Went in to inquire about piercing costs, I was told it would be around $35 to get my doubles plus the cost of earrings, I found this reasonable. Came back later at my appointment and turns out I was told the wrong price initially, and it would be more expensive. I went ahead with it because I thought it would be worth it for a quality piercing. 3 weeks later, I follow all of the cleaning/care instructions and use the solution they have you buy (another $15). I try to take them out to switch them as I was told I could by this date but I was unable to remove the earrings and had to go to the doctor to get them removed with special tools. Both piercings were infected and had to be removed to prevent further harm. To summarize, I paid $161 for infected piercings that will probably close up in a week. I get the appeal of the store to families with younger children as the store has a more family friendly vibe than most piercing parlors, but it’s really not worth the extra cost.

  10 stars review! Fast Service. Very kind and flexible with what I wanted I did want a cartilage piercing on both ears that same day and they did educate me on how I need to sleep to keep them from getting infected. I wanna shout out to the team at Mall of America, especially my nurse Emma, who pierced my ears! Libras! For the win by the way! 100% would go back to see Emma and get more Piercings done! The quality of the jewelry is amazing thinking about going back and just purchasing some earrings! Thank you for making my experience more than a five star more like a 10 star can’t wait to go back!

  I went to Rowan today in the mall of America to purchase some Halloween earrings which unfortunately we were no longer in stock. When I spoke with Sean about them, he told me they no longer had them in the store, but he could call the store in Chicago and see if they have them in stock. Fortunately, the Chicago store had them in stock and Sean asked them if they could FedEx them to me. I was able to pay for them over the phone and they will get delivered to my house. I live in Rochester so this worked out great because I don’t have to drive back up to Bloomington to pick them up. He was so patient and kind in helping me find the earrings that I was looking for. I will definitely be a repeat customer to this store.
