I had the worst experience here that I have EVER HAD in my entire life while receiving the service. From the moment I walked in, Julie was EXTREMELY rude to me. She snickered when I asked her if there was a student discount at all. She was very short and wouldn't answer me when I asked how long the wait was. I had NO idea where her attitude was coming from... I was very kind to her. Another worker apologized and informed me it would be 10 minutes about. Julie was the one who was cutting my hair and she snickered at me and interrupted me when I was explaining what cut I want-- she said something along the lines of "I know what im doing, ive done this before." I told her i'm just trying to communicate what I want. During the haircut I got lots of snickers and rude comments: "im not cutting that again" "fine whatever you want" etc. when I asked if she could put layers in and cut my bangs a little shorter. I am paying to receive a haircut and she clearly didn't want to give me one. I was so uncomfortable the entire time and felt attacked. Towards the end she asked how I liked it and I said it was very good and asked if she could even out the bangs just a little bit. This is where things got bad... Julie said: *snickers* No, I've been cutting your hair I don't want to do anything else for you, I'm frustrated". I asked her why she was frustrated-- I had been dying to know the whole time why she was so rude to me! She said "I've been cutting your hair for how many minutes now??" (it had been about 10-15). I finally, kindly, stood up for myself and said "well I came her to get a haircut, are you not going to cut my hair then?" She said "no, im done". I went to pay and she was very hostile. I asked for her name and she turns around, walks away, and says "Julie".
I called the corporate and got a call back from the manager. Basically what was established on the phone call was: thanks for the feedback, I talked to Julie, if you want you can come back and we will finish your haircut. I was apologized to by Cathy the manager but I didn't feel it was genuine. She didn't want to compensate me money wise or tell me what Julie's perspective was. I feel like they didn't seem too concerned about my experience and I wish I would have got some feedback as to what was going through Julie's head. If there was something I did I would love to know, because I feel as though I was extremely kind and cooperative. I dealt with her snickers, comments, and attitude. I would not recommend this place AT ALL. My experience was mind-blowing and I'm shocked at the treatment and lack of an attempt to make things right or give me insight. Thank you for reading this!
