  My experience at JCPenney salon has been exceptional. All of the stylist ( Sarah, Kyia, Rita, Porsha, Alex, Priti, Tiffany, and Melissa) do great work and are professional. I have booked with Kyia and Rita. I will now be a regular client.

  Sarah, the Salon Manager, has the utmost passion for her career and her customers. Not only did she cut and help suggest the perfect style for my hair and personality, she helped me with a product selection afterwards. I’m new to hair care, and she was THE professional to see in educating me on what works with my curls! Would recommend to everyone!! Thank you so much Sarah for being one of JCPenney’s loveliest employees and a true joy to have behind me in the salon chair!

  I had a terrible experience here. They didn't cut my hair right And did not fix it. I had another time when I went for an appointment for a haircut and was kept waiting for 2 and a half hours. I asked to see the manager. And I was told she was busy. I found out she was in her office. She refused to help a customer who directly asked for her who was grossly mistreated. I asked her for compensation. Like a discount, for having all that time wasted. She refused, saying I was given a 'conditioning treatment'. I had agreed to wait a few minutes for my stylist, and get the conditioner, to be agreeable. However, no one came to check on me in all that time and when the dryer went off, I was left just sitting there all that time. I should have been offfered a discount or free service for such bad treatment. When you're hair isn't cut or styled correctly, and you're very unhappy with it, the stylist should do everything she can to fix it. Not be in a rush, not listen to what you want, then blame you. And then, be unwilling to redo the cut so it's right. And the customer is happy. There wasn't much communication frm her. I tried to explain what I wanted, but she was in a rush and told me to sit down, i was trying to show her how I wanted my hair! I would not recommend this salon. I've had multiple bad experiences and no compensation. And no apologies, either. Not from the stylist, not from the management, and not from j c Penney store management. I've contacted corporate with this information. I didn't before, but, now, it's been multiple bad experiences and outcomes. The reason I went multiple times is the 1st stylist cut my hair great the 1st 2 times. I gave her a big tip. Then, the 3rd time it was the 3 hour wait. The 2nd stylist did my haircut great two times! Then, the 3rd time not so great. The fourth time- was not how I wanted it at all. I hate it! I am really upset and miserable with an ugly cut. The manager is supposed to call me- it's been an hour, and she still hasn't called.

  I had my hair cut and styled at another place before coming here and it was hacked off. It took me a while before I could allow someone else to touch my hair, until I saw Sarah. She not only brought my hair back to life, the products she used kept it nice and healthy for a long while. Great stylist, great products and great hours. It was worth every penny spent. I would definitely go back.
