The employees here just stare at you in groups they are in a judging contest. They need some customer service training at this store

Probably the most uncomfortable sephora experience I've ever had. This store is way too overstaffed. There were maybe 3 people in the store and about 8 employees. I wanted to look at the minis by the register and I was confronted by 2 employees who each asked if I was checking out and repeated that I couldn't check out there for card. I had to keep repeating I just wanted to look at the minis. While looking I was watched by a line of 4 employees who once I said I was ready to check out ushered me rudely down the gauntlet of sephora employees repeating that I couldnt pay there with card, to the other end of the store where I was rudely rung up. When I pointed out that she had not applied the sale discount she told I needed to have said that and she didn't know what was on sale. The tone she used and the way they all were with customers was uncomfortable. Even my boyfriend was bombarded with questions. Really odd and uncomfortable experience overall.

Manager at Sephora is unfriendly, impatient and not a nice person. I returned 2 items today at the Village Mall of Rochester location. She rang up the 2 items and I asked if she needed the online email order. She said no it won't help anything with an unfriendly tone. I thought okkkayyy, sorry I asked. She then said the return will go back to my visa and she spoke the last 4 digits. I didnt recognize the card she spoke about. So I said I used my Sephora card. She kept saying the return was on a visa card. So with some confusion, I decided to look up my order on the Sephora app to confirm that I used my Sephora card. The order showed a visa, this led to more confusion. She just stared at me like I was a bother to her. She said you can add the return to any card. So I put my Sephora card in the machine. Thats when I learned the Sephora card is a visa. She gave me this look like yeah, its a visa card. If she would have just said so, it would have eliminated all the confusion and chat. I wanted to do some more shopping, but her demeanor spoiled that desire. I won't shop there again. The manager sets the tone for the customer's shopping experience. This is the closest Sephora store to my home, but I guess I will need to travel farther for a better experience elsewhere.

Disgusting attitudes from the workers who think they know everything and are better than everyone else. Especially Alyssa. You’re just a Sephora employee, no need for the hating attitude.

I walked into the store to shop and a worker named Alyssa was very rude and disrespectful when I approached her for help she not only was rude and gave me an attitude but when I asked for help to see if there were anymore of this product, I wanted to purchase, she automatically told me that I cannot open the Drawer but I never told her I did? Which was very frustrating because I only ask her to help me and see if they had anymore of the product I needed and she Automatically says and assumed, you can’t open the drawer. It’s supposed to be locked and I said I never tried to open the drawer I’m asking you for help. Then with a nasty attitude she’s like well how do you know it’s locked?? Who talks that way? I’ve never experienced such an awful customer service at a Sephora store. I will never be coming back in there And then she kept going off with an attitude wasn’t pleasant, no customer service skills, not professional. I felt very uncomfortable being in there. I advise sephora to hire someone who has more experience and skills towards customer service.
