My son has a mullet and the cut took only a few minutes, but my problem is my son had an accident on the playground at school and had dirt in his hair. I didn't even know this until after his haircut was done because I was examining his cut. First the stylist didn't say anything which to me is strange because maybe she thought I just let my kid have dirt on his scalp idk.which I don't. Second she didn't spray water and thoroughly wet his hair which will affect the evenness. I specifically said I wanted his hair even. Third, one side of his fade was done evenly and nice (left side). There were some longer hairs right on the arch of the ear but nothing too bad. Although the right side that didnt face me was all choppy. That made me super frustrated since I just want him cleaned up and looking nice. I think long hairs along the edge of the ears is a basic must when getting a haircut. I also got my daughter a trim for her curly long blonde hair. The stylist once again barely wet her hair with a mist. Since her hair is curly now it looks uneven. Since I was busy watching my son I didn't really go over and question her process or oversee it. They didn't offer to shampoo and missed an opportunity to make a good impression and results. Resulting in me not tipping as much for next time. I understand that most people don't tip much usually but I still value good work integrity.
