  The older white lady with short hair at this location is very rude. She has no manners and follows you around the store. I go to Sephora a lot and usually spend a lot But it doesn’t mean that I need to purchase something to be able to visit the store. That lady looked me and my parents up and down, followed us around the store and kept giving mean looks to us. Every time I go to Sephora, that lady had the same attitude, demeaning and condescending! I also went to return my Mario foundation one because it just didn’t work for me. I have been able to easily return my stuff in the past if I didn’t like it, But this other older white lady asked me a whole list of questions about my return, although I bought it like two days ago. She was being condescending throughout the conversation and once I was done, She had A smirk on her face and kept looking at me until I left the store. These people are extremely racist and ill mannered.

  To the pretty Sephora lady this morning, please stop being mean to others. I have been to Sephora 100s of times but never faced such behavior. If you have questions or doubt anyone birthday just ask them ID we will be happy to give it to you. It’s just a free hamper and everyone are not just coming to your store for that ( we have purchased $100 items from the store). We were enjoying our morning at Sephora with my friend on her bday and your behavior just made me so sad, I didn’t want to hurt her or spoil our day so we just went ahead with our day but just can’t keep your behavior out of my mind so posting it. Thanks for your service but please just dont keep on going spoiling others day!! Please!!!

  Zakia assisted me today and had excellent customer service. Her product knowledge was exceptional and she was super friendly! She also went out of her way to suggest some alternatives as the item I was looking for wasn’t currently in stock. Zakia is a wonderful asset to the Sephora team!

  The manager at that particular location in Novi, Diane, has the worst demeanor and customer service I have experienced in a long time. She is consistently rude, prefers talking to her associates about things needing to get done and conference calls, rather than take care of her few customers. She did not bother to offer a color match when asked about foundation. I have called the Store Manager directly to provide feedback, as I am a former Sephora manager in a stand alone store, and I can see that her behavior and attitude have not changed. I love Sephora in Kohl's because I can use my Kohl's charge. But I will be driving to a different Kohl's from now on. As a Kohl's MVP and Sephora VIB, I would expect better.
