  I stopped by the Aveda store for help with the new Be Curly line. The Curl Perfecting Primer replaced the Style Prep and it curled my fine hair, but I was having frizz problems. Aimee absolutely welcomed me in and remembered me from a few other visits. She and the other person working there (sorry, I didn’t catch her name) were SO helpful. They gave me many suggestions and samples to try out different products to see what will work for me. I’m so excited to try the new products and find exactly what will work to get my spirals back. Thank you both for your kindness, thoughtfulness, customer service and help! It’s difficult to find wonderful people like you these days :-)

  I went to this store tagging along with my niece. TC was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. She listened to my niece's facial issues and showed us different examples of products. I even decided to buy a few products after instructions and explanations. It was great customer service that I have never received before, and I will make sure I continue keeping in touch with TC about the products. I stay on the far Eastside of Detroit near Grosse Pointe and there are no Aveda stores near me. Just wonderful experience with her. I really appreciated it. Thanks again TC...Valerie

  Had to return some products I bought at Somerset but due to scheduling constraints, I went to this location instead of driving over to Troy. The older lady at the counter proceeded to tell me that she couldn't process a return for items purchased from other stores and told me that I would need to go back to the store where I originally bought them. I was very apologetic but explained that I was really pressed for time and she changed her tune and said if I could wait until her manager got there at 11:30am then maybe she might agree to process the return on the store iPad which would allow the other store to get charged for the return instead of them. Initially, I agreed but had a feeling it was just a stalling tactic that would go nowhere. So, I left and decided to just go back to Somerset Mall, spending an hour in construction traffic, but at least the very nice ladies there took care of my return promptly and courteously. They also let me know that what the other salesperson had told me was flat-out wrong. Won't be shopping at the Twelve Oaks location again!

  Was ready to purchase some new items at this store, however Nancy, although helpful told me to come back in an hour for a facial to try products, then when I returned less than an hour later she said it was getting late. Bummed out because I was ready to actually purchase new skin care items if I knew how they felt on my face and not the back of my hand. Nancy was knowledgeable, but I am disappointed on the clear lack of respect for a consumers time.
