- FTFreddy TFeb 13, 20261.0Brought two kids in for a trim, checked in online ahead of time. First kid had uneven hair in the front and it looks terrible. They served 3 other people in front of my second child. Excuse me I checked in both kids at the same time. It took an entire hour to trim two kids as a result of waiting for everyone else. Terrible experience, why have a website to check-in early if you're gonna make me wait 45 minutes because I want to bring in two kids. I selected two guest on check-in, there is really no excuse here. I'll never come back. To make matters worse I asked the lady if there was a way to avoid this and have both kids cut in order she looked at me like I was dumb. How rude!

Then, I tell her specifically I don’t like my bangs sitting above my eyebrow and that I just need her to trim them so they will lay straight exactly how I wear them. She wets them, cuts them at a curve, and sends me home with uneven bangs that I have to end up matching to the highest side, which is now sitting above my eyebrows. Thanks for nothing 😭😭😭😭😭

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
