- RLReba LMay 25, 20251.0I had one of the worst customer service experiences at the Sephora inside Kohl’s. I came in to exchange a blush palette that arrived completely shattered from an online Sephora order. The associate was unbelievably rude and immediately shut me down with, “There’s nothing I can do, we’re Sephora at Kohl’s.” The store is fully branded as Sephora—but the service felt like the exact opposite. If that’s the policy, fine. But at least take a moment to explain it in a kind, empathetic way instead of brushing people off with attitude. To make matters worse, the closest standalone Sephora location to me is over 50 miles away. This was my only local option—and this is the kind of experience they’re offering? Thankfully, Sephora’s online support was amazing and handled everything quickly. But based on this in-store experience, it’s no wonder brick-and-mortar locations are closing left and right. With help like this, why would anyone bother shopping in person?

She rudely questioned me about it in a completely unprofessional way. This kind of behavior is unacceptable! I will not be returning to this store, and I hope Sephora takes action to ensure their staff treats customers with courtesy and respect.
