- HPHomeworks PropertiesOct 2, 20251.0Took my 8yr old daughter for a haircut. We showed the “stylist” a picture of her last hair cut. This is exactly how we wanted it cut again, right below the shoulders. Explained in detail that we needed it to go up in a ponytail and a bun. She acted like she understood but then started cutting the bottom layer at the base of her neck all the way off! When I gasped at the super long pieces of hair falling to the floor she told my daughter “moms freaking out because of that one little cut” then proceeded to cut the outer layer close to the length we asked for but it was so uneven. And now she has a whole layer of super short hair at the base of her neck that will not go into any kind of ponytail or bun. I should have never paid or given her a tip but I did. The other stylist totally shaved her client’s head. He was clearly unhappy and was not quiet about it. At least she said she was sorry and offered a free haircut. My stylist tried to cover up her atrocious mistake. Would not recommend!!

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
