  It has definitely improved over the years! I was surprised to see the old reviews on google compared to my experience now in the salon with Raven. She did an amazing job on my color and cut! Will visit again 😊

  I made an appointment online came on time. The stylist took me to the back and was bewildered on how i knew her and that the prices that was online was not what she charges due to she is one of the senior stylist. She started quoting me all the different charges and then one of the other ladies chimed in across the salon not to forget another charge. Unbelievable i had never had this experience with JCP. I have been going to the salon in Saginaw for years. I visited the salon in the other completely different customer service was awesome and you actually get what went for and the right price. I will never go to the salon at rivertown again.

  If there was an option for no stars I would put that. My experience there was terrible with Jessica H. I went there for a haircut and a HIGHLIGHT and I had a picture of both to show what I wanted. Also i said for the hightlight I want it to be blended and not show much. First my hair was almost belly button length and what I showed her was at the bottom of the shoulder blade, v cut. The first time she cut the v it literally was straight with a little bump in the middle. She tried 3 times to get what a have, and for the color she took the color book out and i showed her which color i wanted. She said ok she can do that. She came back to do my hair and she giving me a balayage which wasnt what a wanted but I figured she knows how it will turn out and this is my first time get my hair highlighted so I asked if she needed to see the pic again and she said no. After her washing my hair and putting toner in she added a hair treatment which I didn't ask for and she was combing my hair so hard I thought my head was gonna be bruised! The comb was sliding through very easily too. Anyways she colored my hair but the roots blond and not the right color. Forgot to do the front layers and when I got home my husband points out that the v cut isn't a v cut! Half of it is a v and the other half is flat!! 😢 And she ruined my brand new shirt! She couldn't follow a picture and the color book instructions to get the right color.. very disappointing. 150 dollars wasted for something that looks like a 10 year old did. I do not reccomend.

  Terrible customer service!!! I made an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed on 10/21/17. The stylist never introduced herself, and made no conversation at all. Didn't even ask what I wanted my eyebrows to look like. The stylist stopped partially through, to help someone find hair gel to purchase. She ended up burning my eyebrows REALLY bad! When I went to cash out, the stylist had not logged into the computer yet. She kept entering the wrong log in number. I ended up waiting 15 minutes to cash out. I will never return to this location!
