From the moment I walked in, the space felt calming and welcoming. The massage itself was exactly what I needed—intentional, thorough, and clearly done by someone who knows what they’re doing. Massages are really important to me, and it’s such a relief to find a place I can trust and come back to regularly. I’m so happy this spa is now part of my self-care routine!
- MWMackenzie WardwellJan 26, 20263.0Not a true day spa. I was a regular at the Woodhouse Naples, FL location before moving to Michigan and this location isn’t even close to the same experience. The Florida location has a dry sauna & steam room. It also has a cozy lounge that includes a hot tea station, a water dispenser (fruit diffused), and snacks. The lounge has an electric fireplace display with day beds and blankets. The bathrooms have multiple showers and changing rooms along with toiletries (combs, shower caps, disposable razors, mouthwash, and so much more). It truly gives a day spa experience where you can spend time before and after your massage using the amenities. Needless to say I was very disappointed at my first visit to the Grand Rapids location. It is more expensive than Florida location and no amenities. They only offer to bring you a beverage. No sauna/steam room, 1 shower and the locker room was under construction. If the price was cheaper just for a simple massage in and out it would be fine but I feel GR is missing out and paying more. Last thing to mention was the massage therapist was mediocre. I’ve had many massages over the years. She was pleasant and respectful but her massage didn't seem experienced and she paused often through massage to crack/stretch her hands (maybe arthritis issues or new to the job?). The cleanliness and atmosphere were decent and staff were welcoming. Was just surprised at the lack of amenities while still labeling it a “day spa” vs just a massage/facial service.

I bought my mom a gift card for Christmas for what was supposed to be a relaxing head and shoulder massage, which she used on 1/6/26. It was awful. They didn’t massage her shoulders at all, the water temperature was wildly inconsistent, either scalding hot or freezing cold, and they were so rough they pulled out her hair. She left feeling stressed, uncomfortable, and disappointed instead of relaxed. She said the cheap champagne was the best part of the experience. This was meant to be a thoughtful gift, and it turned into a complete waste of money. She will never be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

It was very relaxing, her attention to detail and the way she took her time puts you right at ease. I am beyond happy with my service and highly recommend coming to wood house for any spa needs!

Spa Reservations
To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible or at the conclusion of your last experience. Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability. Menu service and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Credit cards are required to reserve all appointments, including those using gift cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Spa Arrivals
To begin your spa journey in a relaxed state, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. For a new guest, please allow 30 minutes to accommodate completion of your guest profile. Spa robes, slippers, private lockers and beverages are provided for your comfort. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit. In consideration of other spa guests, service time will not be extended for delayed arrivals, and the full price of your service will be charged. Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food or product sensitivities or aggressive medications). We recommend that valuable items be left at home. Woodhouse is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Spa Cancellations or Rescheduling
As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24-hour advance notice is required. A 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments lasting more than 2 hours. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations are subject to charges up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services. Spa Parties are subject to terms of agreement for cancellations.
Minor Policy & Spa Requirements
Guests between the ages of 13-17 require a parent to be in the room for any spa service received. So that all guests may experience a pleasant and peaceful environment, we ask that only those receiving services accompany you to the spa.
Spa Payments, Gratuity, and Gift Cards
Payments are accepted in the form of Cash, most Major Credit Cards and Woodhouse Spa Gift Cards.Woodhouse gift card contains value which may be used to purchase products and services at face value. This card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. The card must be presented at time of purchase and the available balance will be applied to the transaction. Prices vary by spa and are subject to change without notice. Spa locations are individually owned franchises solely responsible for any and all gift card liabilities at their respective locations. Redemption of this card is subject to certain restrictions and expirations set by each spa location or state regulation. Should this card be redeemed at another location, the card will be redeemed at face value. This card is non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card. This card is not transferable and Woodhouse is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of the card. No express or implied warranties apply. Series of services are not refundable, but can be converted to spa credit. There will be a $50.00 fee each time a check is returned as well as any incurred charges for collection of payment owed. Gratuities are not included in the value of the services and are at the discretion of the guest.
Spa Products and Returns
In the event you are not satisfied with a skin or body care product, you will be given spa credit if the product is returned within 30 days of purchase. For other retail items, a refund will be issued as spa credit or back in the form of which payment was received within 30 days of purchase.
