    My girlfriend booked an appointment online at JCPenney for a haircut, facial, and eyebrows. About an hour before the appointment, they called her and said they could only do either the facial or the eyebrows—not all three services. When she asked why, since she had already booked everything properly online, they brought up a note from 8 months ago. Back then, on her birthday, she had an appointment but was running a bit late. When she called ahead, they said it was fine. But once she reached, they refused service saying she had long, thick hair that would take extra time, and they added a note about it. Now, 8 months later, they’re using that same note to say they can’t do all her services today. They haven’t even seen her today. They don’t know how her hair looks right now. So how can they make that decision based on outdated notes? Is there any reason other than racial bias for this kind of treatment? Is JCPenney only for American citizens? Because that’s exactly how it felt. The name of Employee is Felish Gates.
