- SBSandra BurtchMar 8, 20201.0Our visit was not even worth a 1 star. We called JCPENNEY salon for my daughter to get her whole head/hair platinum blonde, her senior pictures were in one week and she was was getting her hair done for the pics - they even told us that it would take about 3 hours to do. We didn’t mind because she really wanted it done. We got to the salon, the lady at the desk confirmed what we were scheduled there and reminded us that it would take about 3 hours. The lady, I believe her name was KIM/Kimberly, took her back and didn’t even know what she was there for, and when she found out, she said that she couldn’t do it. When we explained all of it to the front desk, Kim told us that with all the customers, they probably couldn’t hear us on the phone when we made the appointment. It seems that if there was a lot of people there, you would pay extra attention to the person on the phone to make sure you got it right... I am very unhappy with the salon inside JCPenney’s. We used to get our hair done there, but I will not go back there anymore. Very unprofessional - and Kim was very rude to us. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend them at all to anyone unless you just want a plain haircut, at least not with KIM.

However, even though the young lady was a total sweetheart and did a fantastic job on my pedicure. She seemed a little perplexed doing my manicure. She polished one hand and decided to remove it and start over as the polish wss old and thick. It took a coworker to suggest using a clear gel over regular polish-which peeled off the next day. I paid $70.00 for both. 😕 I later found out how over priced it was. I definitely won't be returning.
