Telling me I can’t have the “cut” I want because my hair was too short and I don’t look like the guy in the picture. I was trying to tell her that I’m letting go out but I need my neckline and around my ears trimmed while it grows but she just kept interrupting and talking to me like I was stupid. I chuckled to try to defuse the situation and said I felt she was speaking very rudely to me to which she just said “sorry you feel that way but I’m right I can’t cut your hair it’s shorter than the guy in the picture” to which I said “you keep interrupting me to say that. I know my hair isn’t long enough yet. But I want the edges cleaned while it grows. She was dismissive, did not listen, and was very rude. I have never before walked out of any kind of appointment but I’ve never had a stylist of all people speak to me as if she just could not stand that I was there.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
