- EMEvan MonaghanNov 2, 20251.0Just came to this location and walked out of the chair before my cut. I’ve never experienced a stylist who was so rude. Telling me I can’t have the “cut” I want because my hair was too short and I don’t look like the guy in the picture. I was trying to tell her that I’m letting go out but I need my neckline and around my ears trimmed while it grows but she just kept interrupting and talking to me like I was stupid. I chuckled to try to defuse the situation and said I felt she was speaking very rudely to me to which she just said “sorry you feel that way but I’m right I can’t cut your hair it’s shorter than the guy in the picture” to which I said “you keep interrupting me to say that. I know my hair isn’t long enough yet. But I want the edges cleaned while it grows. She was dismissive, did not listen, and was very rude. I have never before walked out of any kind of appointment but I’ve never had a stylist of all people speak to me as if she just could not stand that I was there.

I requested a swing Bob and came out with a plain Jane straight across hair cut that my 8 year old grandson could have given me. Grant it it's a cheap place to get a hair cut, but when you ask me what I want I expect that is what I'm getting. Otherwise why ask. Just simply say for the price you pay here we offer plain Jane simple hair cuts only. I didn't recommend them. Also this is Great Clips on Jackson hwy in Scio Township Michigan

She is very efficient, courteous, friendly and professional. I look forward to my haircuts with her, highly recommend her. All the other stylists are just as pleasant and friendly. Only good things to say about this location, always clean and pleasant.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
