- DDDee4 days ago1.0I do not recommend. Jayne gave me a terrible haircut, all while boasting about how long she's been cutting hair (first it was 20 years, then 25, then 30 - get your story straight!). She asked me what I wanted but then did what she wanted instead! I wanted my bangs long; she cut them way too short. I wanted layers all around; she only layered the back. I wanted the perimeter (bottom edge) cut straight across; she insisted on cutting it in a curve. She left the top too long and barely touched the sides where it was overgrown and needed the most help. There, she did a poor job of "point cutting" my shortest layer, which left it looking ragged and messy, and yet it was still too long. Jayne did not bother to connect that layer to the next layer below it, so there is a big gap between them, almost like a mullet, and the perimeter is also too long. Her actions make no sense. It is the weirdest, scraggliest haircut I've ever paid for. And to add insult to injury, I actually saw her roll her eyes at a co-worker when I asked her to fix something she left uneven. Rude and arrogant! I knew I was taking a risk with a franchise like this, but I never expected to have my instructions ignored so blatantly. All I could do was say it looked ok and then I got out of there as fast as I could. Never going back!

Vic knows how to work with curly hair! Very happy with the price point, atmosphere and overall genuine care and customer service. Listening to my hair concerns and being informative. I love my haircut thank you!

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
