First time customer and here is my honest review. To be very honest, the one star is for the friendly crew, they were nice. But the service is horrible unfortunately. Upon check in we were told that the 50% discount would make my total $25-$30. The waiting time was about 15 minutes and first i went in for a shampoo, which was a calming experience. After that i had a cut and a blowout. But she started the blowout to which i immediately told her about the cut. I had initially asked for layers and honestly, it wasn’t great. As per other reviews, it was pretty basic. Oh and the blowout oof don’t get me started. It was so so bad. Also, the whole process took her wayyy too long. Originally my total was $120ish where at the checkout my total came out to $60 something after the discount because my hair length was long (fair enough) and that i had some deluxe blowout done because of my hair texture??? (Just say i had straight hair). Omg and then i accidentally tipped her 20% which made it worse. Like why did i even do that?? I didn’t wanna make a scene asking back for a tip they didn’t deserve so i had to leave. But seriously, they need to do better. Hair cuttery staff needs to make sure their online scheduling system works properly, the service should be fast and they actually need to do better better in their craft.

The lady was very nice, but the wait time was ridiculous. What’s the point in making an appointment if you have to be serviced last? I made my son’s appointment for 3:45pm, he didn’t get serviced until 4:35pm. I was told we’d have about a 15min wait, and their policy changed. So if you’re planning to visit here don’t book for first available, because you’ll wait forever. Book with a stylist to get the service in a timely manner. I will not be choosing this salon again.

I’m officially done with this place. Every time I come here, I leave disappointed. No matter how clearly I explain what I want, the result is always mediocre at best—and usually not even close to what I asked for. It’s frustrating to keep giving chances and hoping for better, only to walk out regretting it again. Customer service feels rushed, and attention to detail just isn’t there. This was my last visit—I won’t be coming back.

I'm new to the area and tired this business for a second time. My first experience was ok, but I felt that the stylist used to much product on my hair and I explained this to her on the second visit. Perhaps she did not appreciate that I mentioned it was too much and I'm allergic to wheat. She was sarcastic and said, "she is not a chemist." How unprofessional and rude , I thought. No concern for the customer, and such a negative attitude all around. Robin received a tip (cash) the first time, so I'm not sure what her problem was with me. I have sensitive skin and an allergy to wheat. Simply allowing me to check the ingredient on her setting lotion would have easily solved the problem. I also noticed that she charged me for Cibu treatments, and never used it on my hair. She used her product Design Essentials. I won't return and I'm not sure that I am getting what I pay for. Oh yeah, she got a tip again, just because it is customary . Nothing special about what she did, and I can get a better wet set at a DOMINICAN SALON FOR LESS and they do not smother the hair with mouse or whatever Robin used.

Honestly, this was a waste of money. I came in for a deep conditioning treatment and a blowout with curls, and left with breakage and damp hair. I was charged for the Cibu Revive Restore Stand Alone Treatment ($25), a Classic Blowout ($31), and an additional Long Hair Chemical/Blowout/Curling Service—yet I did not receive the results of a proper blowout or any real styling. The stylist, Veronica, was very nice, but the service itself was disappointing. She put my soaking wet hair into extremely tight rollers to the point where I could feel my scalp being pulled and said they needed to be tight to hold. After sitting under the dryer, she told me my hair was dry, but it was still damp. She brushed it out anyway, and my hair looked like a damp mop! no curls, no volume, no body. I even asked if she was going to curl or style it further, and she didn’t. There were also no styling products used at all no mousse, gel, or hairspray which explains why nothing held. For over $80, I expected a finished, styled blowout. Instead, I had to go home and redo my hair myself. Very disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.
