  The stylist was good with our special needs adult daughter who is apprehensive about leaning back for hair washing. I didn't notice that there were any smocks to wear. My daughter's shirt got soaked because she leaned forward when stylist rinsed. Stylist was accommodating by offering an extra towel. Why are there no smocks?

  My first time getting my hair highlighted with Tammy. She did a fabulous job. I felt beautiful when I walked out of there. She’s now my new hairstylist. Thank you so much, TAMMY. It made a huge difference in my day. I probably my next month. Deborah

  I am writing this with a very heavy heart. While the hairstylist did apologize and the manager did what she could by issuing a refund, the emotional damage from this appointment cannot be undone. My partner walked into this salon with hair that went all the way down to her butt and left with hair that is barely longer than a bob. She was very clear about what she wanted. She asked for only light face-framing layers, specifically requested to keep her length, and even brought a photo of her own hair as a reference. She also asked the stylist to go slowly and cautiously, to do less first and then add more if needed, because she was nervous about losing length. Despite this, the stylist immediately cut her hair far too short, removing a drastic amount of length and adding layers throughout her hair that she never asked for. There was no opportunity for feedback or adjustment because the damage was done in one cut. She left unable to braid her hair or even put it into a bun. She has been absolutely devastated ever since. Hair is not just hair. It is deeply tied to identity, confidence, and feeling like yourself. This experience left her feeling unrecognizable and like something precious was taken from her without consent. We deliberately chose a higher-ranked stylist because we wanted to feel safe and trust that her wishes would be respected. Unfortunately, that trust was broken. Even though a refund was given, the emotional impact remains. My partner is deeply hurt, heartbroken, and struggling with her confidence because of this experience. For that reason, I would never trust Hair Cuttery with my hair or the hair of someone I love again.

  the woman who cut my hair cut it shorter than i told her to and then found a way to blame me by calling it a “miscommunication.” i have VERY long hair. I presented her with a picture of what my hair looked like after my last haircut, and said i want this. right below the bust to start please. she chopped it all off to where it doesn’t even reach the top of my bust. she blamed it on me wearing a sweatshirt in the reference photo so it was “hard to tell” but i was wearing a t-shirt today. i’m unbelievably upset with the result and even more upset that I was made to feel as though i didn’t communicate effectively when i did.I asked for the most simple thing ever and she still screwed it up.
