I had an appointment for 11. I get there 5 minutes early. At 11:05 they seat a walk in ahead of me. I complain. They say "my" stylist is busy. I picked "first available stylist". Which I say. They double down. Another guy comes in. They seat him. A new stylist comes in, and isn't working. She also refuses to cut my hair. Eventually my stylist is free. Screw this place. I was there on time and they serviced 3 later people ahead of me and would rather have someone stand around than take me, when they're already late. It may not be important to you Hair Cuttery but it felt like you spit in my face and said that me and my time are unimportant. Why would you seat a walk in ahead of a person waiting for an appointment? Bad business

I'd never been to this Hair Cuttery. I didn't have an appointment, but I called ahead and asked if someone could do a deluxe blowout with the Cibu conditioning treatment. The person on the phone assigned me someone, and 30 minutes later I walked in for my last-minute appointment. The young woman took me back to the chair. As I sat down, I told her that I have no scalp sensitivity and she could really dig into my scalp. That shampoo was one of the weakest I've ever received. The stylist kept leaving the bowl to get things (I don't know how much of that was her or just a lack of store supplies). After going back to her chair, I knew I was in for an unpleasant experience. She had to borrow a hairdryer comb attachment from someone else, and she didn't seem to know how to blow dry my hair. Every other moment the comb attachment fell off and hit the ground. The comb attachment hardly ever touched my scalp. At one point when the comb got caught in a tangle near my neckline, she burned my neck with the heat of the blow dryer like she'd forgotten it was on? By the time she was done, I was surprised my hair was dry at all. I was charged $68 for something i could've done at home. I normally go to the one at North Plaza and have a wonderful experience, but my stylist wasn't available today, and the Timonium store is on my way home from work. Never again.

My son wrote a long, glowing review, but it disappeared. Suffice to say, the staff were able to accomodate his sudden visit (without an appt, near closing time, AND on Christmas Eve Eve!). His stylist was polite, very competent, humble, and apparently had lovely, colorful shorter hair. He plans to return to this location.

This was a really great experience at this hair cuttery. I only had to wait about 5 minutes for my stylist to be ready for my haircut. I requested a buzz cut with a number four blade and then a shampoo afterwards to clean me up. She got to work and started shaping my hair and getting rid of the much-needed mop on my head! She was done in a hurry and then cleaned me up with a razor and gave me a close clean shave up around my ears and also took care of a straightening up my eyebrows. After which she asked if my cut looked okay and I that it did and went off to get a shampoo. She did a really good job with that shampoo and also the cut and I was in and out of there within about 20 minutes. The vibe of the shop seemed pretty cool and relaxed and very laid back. I've been to many hair Cuttery locations in the region but this is probably one of the best I've been to and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
