I’ve always assumed Hair Cuttery wasn’t the place for textured, African-American hair—but I was so wrong. From the moment I walked in to the moment I checked out, the experience was amazing. The manager at the front desk was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable right away. She introduced me to Blue, who absolutely exceeded my expectations. Blue gave me one of the best cuts I’ve had—she shaped my pixie cut beautifully and took her time to understand exactly what I wanted. My hair looks and feels amazing! After I left to pick up a prescription nearby, I realized I’d forgotten to get her contact information for future appointments. When I went back, Blue was cutting a Caucasian gentleman’s hair—which just showed me how versatile she is. She can handle all hair types and textures with skill and confidence. If you have textured or natural hair and have been hesitant like I was, please go see Blue! She’s talented, professional, and truly cares about her clients.
