  I love my experience with Magdalen’s Pure Skin Care. I was nervous about not having a wax in a long time due to surgery, but Magdalen delivered such an effortless and painless session. She truly took her time during my appointment to get every hair. Great conversations that kept me laughing as well. Highly recommend!

  My experience with Ms. Magdalen was the best waxing experience I’ve ever had. Not to be dramatic, but when I hear people talk about painless waxing, I genuinely thought it was a myth because I had never experienced a painless wax until I went here. I had a Brazilian wax done, which in my experience has always been excruciatingly painful. In my past experiences I would always dread wax days because of how unpleasant the experience would be. Waxers I had been to before would wax in huge sections with hard wax that would take forever to dry or forever to lift up, and those waxers always prioritized speed over comfort. The anxiety from the pain and the rough process literally gave me a tear in my eye everytime those wax strips came off, to the point where I’d have to cover my mouth so I don’t scream (it was really that bad). Ms. Magdalen’s method of waxing is quick, methodical in smaller sections, and at least 50% less painful than waxes I’ve had done in the past. She is so friendly, funny and relatable. I’ve never been able to hold a conversation during a waxing session before until I went to her. Because I hadn’t waxed in a long time, I did feel a couple of the pulls, but the pain level was minor and barely even made me flinch. I’m 100% sure that on my next waxing session, it will be painless. I was fully smooth and out of there within 30 minutes. She gave me so much insight about my wax beforehand, instruction, and aftercare tips as well. For the first time ever I’m actually excited about my next wax! 10/10 experience and her salon is extremely clean and modern, parking is easy as well. So glad I found her!!!
