  I asked for a hair cut just below my shoulder blades, and left with a bob. The layers he put in hair, when I asked it subtle layers, made it even shorter. Will not be going back

  I have went to this place yesterday. They charged me extra as soon as i walked in stating my hair was long. I agreed. Then, they put someone to give me a scalp treatment prior to the cut and she didn’t even know how to wash my hair. The front lady was showing her how to wash my hair. Then the same person was also going to do the cut. I requested long layers with face framing curtain bangs. She started by chopping my front hair (without even lining the part on my hair) i have reminded her to do it and then she did and apologized for forgetting. Then started cutting my hair and i had to finally ask her and say something about how she’s gonna blend it woth the rest because my hair wasn’t even or blended with the rest of my hair. I have a long strand of hair that touches my lower back and the rest are all touching my shoulders. I literally cried because they chopped my hair

  I’ve come to this location a few times to get my hair washed, cut, and blow-dried after taking down braids. I usually go in with simple expectations—just to receive the service I ask for. This visit was a little different because after the initial cut, I requested a bit more shaping. I was serviced by a kind woman from Cameroon who truly had the best intentions. She was gracious, patient, and very apologetic throughout the process. While she may not have had the expertise of a master stylist, she handled the situation with professionalism. Thankfully, a master stylist stepped in to help refine and dust the split ends at the back of my head. The reason I’m giving three stars has more to do with the male stylist who wasn’t even working on my hair. While I was trying to explain what I wanted, and clearly did not have the proper hair terminology, he laughed and made jokes about what I was asking for to his client. That didn’t sit well with me. It’s already uncomfortable trying to explain something when you don’t have the right words for it. Being laughed at for that felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I appreciated the teamwork from the women who helped fix things tonight, but that interaction definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. So sharing this in hopes that the environment remains respectful for everyone who walks in.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I specifically scheduled my appointment with Helen because of her great reviews. I arrived before 4:00 PM, only to be told she was running behind schedule and wanted someone else to cut my hair. If I wanted “just anyone,” I wouldn’t have booked with her specifically. I have had bad experiences with other stylists before, which is exactly why I carefully chose Helen. Instead of acknowledging that, she showed no apology and spoke to me in a very rude and dismissive manner. It felt like she thought she could simply pass me off to anyone because “it’s just a haircut.” That is not respectful of my time or my choice. There was zero accountability and zero professionalism. Because of the way she handled the situation and how she spoke to me, I had to leave. This completely disrupted my schedule. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning. 0/10.

  I went in for a pixie maintenance cut, and Phuong did an amazing job. He cut it down perfectly, exactly what I wanted. I was so impressed with his work that I’ve already scheduled my next appointment in five weeks. I’m really happy I found him. If you have a pixie and just need a cut like I did because you maintain your pixie yourself, check him out and thank me later.
