    If you are looking for a good massage therapist, Katie K was absolutely amazing! Best massage I've ever had in my life. I felt like she could read my mind using the perfect amount of pressure and her hands felt magical. Felt like I was levitating while she was working on me. She was very attentive to my desires and my 90 minute massage was everything I could have asked for. My whole body feels so wonderful and relaxed now. Highly recommend!!!

    I will admit, the services I’ve received here have been top-tier in the area. Unfortunately, the customer service does not match the talent. I mistakenly booked a hair appointment and facial for two separate days, when I had intended to receive the services on the same day. Admittedly, this was a mistake on my part. Thinking my appointment was tomorrow, I accidentally “no called, no showed.” This led to me receiving an aggressive voicemail from a staff member informing me I had missed the appointment and would be charged for the full-service amount. My facial appointment for tomorrow was canceled by staff, and I was not allowed to rebook any further appointments until the fee was paid. When I called to explain the mix-up and try to work something out, I was put on hold until a manager could assist. Whoever I spoke to received me with nothing but ice. She kept repeating that I had signed the strict “no call, no show” policy agreement. Again, admittedly, I had. So, I paid what I “owed”. When she asked to rebook my facial tomorrow, I politely declined and hung up the phone. There was no room for understanding, compassion, or compromise. Unfortunately for this business, I don’t allow that kind of energy in my life, and I sure as hell don’t support it financially. At least not after today. How you treat others matters, especially at an establishment that offers relaxation and wellness treatments.

    I can't say enough great things about my visits to Spa on the Avenue in White Marsh, largely thanks to the exceptional nail lady, Merci and phenomenal manager, Marni! Merci, has been doing my nails for over 15 years. She is incredibly friendly and welcoming and her skill is truly unmatched. I am amazed by her meticulous attention to detail, carefully shaping and perfecting every single nail until they are flawless. When I have a split nail she bonds & corrects it, assuring it heals. She clearly takes great pride in her work, ensuring every nail is crisp and the finish is impeccable. Marni, truly sets the tone for a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the salon. One of the things I appreciate most is her exceptional flexibility with scheduling. The salon is busy, but Marni always works her magic to accommodate appointment changes and find times that fit my hectic schedule. Her proactive approach to client needs makes the entire booking process stress-free and convenient. The high level of customer service extends right through to checkout. The process is seamless and efficient, and she always makes sure I am completely satisfied with my service & scheduling before I leave. Beyond the operations, Marni is incredibly friendly and approachable. She greets me or stops by my nail lady’s station to say hello with a genuine smile and ensures I feels valued and comfortable. I see her really taking the time to listen and build a positive rapport with her employees & customers. Her outstanding attitude and strong work ethic are evident in how smoothly everything runs. If you are looking for a salon with top-tier service and employees who go above and beyond, I highly recommend visiting Spa on the Ave in White Marsh. I leave the salon feeling pampered, happy, and with stunning nails!
