I hate to do this but my 4 year old had a terrible experience. This girl should not be working with children or anyone with curly hair. We went in for a shampoo and dead end trim. Straight cut across. At the shampooing station she made the comment “are you just going to stare at my face while i do this?” Then proceeds to tell me how she hates when clients look at her during a shampoo. My daughter is shy and didn’t respond but i could tell she felt bad and confused. She asked me to hold her hands the entire process after that moment. The girl got a round brush stuck in my daughter’s hair multiple times. My daughter kept saying ow and it hurt. Asked me to take her home multiple times and was on the verge of crying. At one point while cutting, the girl said “woah that was a huge chunk” then asked me to come look. She took so much length off of my daughter’s curly hair which was going to look even shorter once it curled up. Her response was “at least it will be healthy when it grows back out”. She would say things like “give me resistance” as if my 4 year old understood that. If my kid didn’t look down or hold completely still, the girl would drop everything she was doing and give her a nasty look. SHES FOUR YEARS OLD. I was boiling inside. She also decided to give my child layers for some reason? Just casually told me that she did it. I had an appointment with the same girl right after my daughter and i canceled it and left. She asked my daughter in the beginning if she wanted her hair curly or straight. My daughter said curly. The girl said it’s easier to cut curly hair if she blow dries it. We left with straight hair for some reason and she charged me for a blow out as well! This girl was very young and clearly needs more experience. Know your stylist. I’ll never do a walk in again.

I got my hair cut and the girl used so much product for my blow out and made me look like a trashy snookie…I immediately brush it out…. I think me and her have different definitions of the word blowout. I had to immediately wash my hair when I got home because it was so much product.
