  Dee is amazing. Even if I don't have photo references she can read my mind and always gives me exactly what I want. She's the best!

  For my appointment today with Nisa/Neesa, I showed her a picture of a shoulder length bob with long layers. What I walked out with was a layered jaw length bob. She started in the back so I was unaware of how short she cut it. I suggest that stylist that aren’t experienced with curly hair, should explicitly say so prior to touching their shears. Further, when I booked, the appointment, it was listed as 45 minutes. So to my surprise, she said she couldn’t diffuse my hair because her next client was coming in, although I had about 15-20 minutes left in my appointment time. Instead, she sprayed my curly hair with water so that I can apply the overpriced cream leave-in conditioner that I purchased and then turned on the hooded dryer.

  I was there today making sure that my Mom was ready for Easter at my sister’s in Philadelphia.She will turn 100 this coming August. She had a wash and blow dry today. The woman who helped her was skilled, sensitive and caring. My mom has some memory issues and it hit her hard today that she has some bald areas on her head. The woman who took care of her, (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name!) was exemplary. She did a great job covering areas that needed it. When we got in the car, I pulled down the mirror for my mom to see her hair. She exclaimed, “Oh! That’s not bad!“ it was a complete victory! I don’t usually leave reviews, but today’s visit with my mom at Hair Cuttery in Gambrills really deserved it.

  Read the reviews!! My first haircut here was great. 2nd haircut had a different stylist and it was pretty terrible/choppy (I was growing my hair out and just went in for a trim, should've been simple). I decided not to go back after that experience until I was texted a 50% off coupon and told they could get me in at a certain time that worked well for my schedule. I decided to give them a chance. Showed up for my appointment. Mentioned this coupon to the stylist. She said this isn't valid because the 50% off doesn't work on Fridays even though the text message said it did. I asked her if this text was a lie, she said yes. So I left and will no longer be a customer. I believe she just wanted to charge me full price which I was not paying for another potentially terrible hair cut. This place is a waste of time

  My first time visiting Hair Cuttery for service....the appointment was easy to make. I went in and saw Ms Alicia L. She was awesome. I wanted a layered cut... but I guess what I was asking was the correct verbiage.. lol. Ms Alicia explained the different types of styles/cuts and i had visual... but once we found the cut/style i liked. She immediately explained what the process was from start to finish... I have so much to say... but in order to get the same experience, you need to actually visit... I will be visiting Ms Alicia for again for all my future appointments... as she has done a fantastic job.
