  I want to say something better, but this is a slow, understaffed Hair cuttery in Gambrills, that often seems to serve a more senior clientele. I came in at 1:30 on a Tuesday, at my Mother-in-law's request, for a short hairstyle. I decided to take a risk as well, since I need an interim short cut, with consult. We were told to come back in 2 hours, which we did. My MIL received a nicely styled and short cut by one of the ladies, and was quite pleased. I spoke with the possible manager on duty (?), and explained my family had been dealing with the aftermath of a severe car accident, and stress was causing hair loss of my decades long hair, for me. I mentioned that it might be needed go go shorter for now, but that most importantly, whatever she suggested, I just needed some...self esteem build to focus forward on. She understood, but spent roughly 10 minutes, to produce an uneven, somewhat confused mid-neck side something with a longer bang for 46.00/plus tip. I just smiled nicely and shoved a hat on in the car. It did not achieve the desired request, but I also thought that asking for further cutting would only make it worse. I spoke with another hairdresser today, who has years of experience and felt that evening up the style to a straight bob, clean up the bangs and darkening my slightly lighter color would definitely reduce the thin look, and improve my confidence. I am sticking with that Stylist from now on. The point here is, if you like a stylist at Hair Cuttery, work with them and stay. If you do not, don't waste yours or their time. The salon is only as good as it's hairdressers and how they are regarded by the salon manager.

  Literally worst hair cut of my life. I spent the night crying. I don't want to show my face anywhere. And someone had the nerve to patronize me on my way out "you look good like that" NOBODY LOOKS GOOD LIKE THIS

  Kerry was AMAZING!!! She was able to articulate and perform the idea I had in my head for my hair color and style. It’s even better than I could have ever anticipated. She has a customer for life!! I’m also glad she was able to educate me on the proper hair care products that I need to maintain the color treatment I just received. Thank you again Kerry!
