  I recently visited Six East Hair Salon while traveling, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I got a full highlight, and as a blonde, I’m particular about color and wanted a natural look.Jaylyn absolutely nailed it. She truly knows her craft and took the time to make sure everything was blended beautifully and looked natural. Not only was I thrilled with the results, but it was also such a pleasure spending time in her chair. She made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend Jaylyn if you’re looking for a talented stylist who delivers gorgeous results!

  East 6th Salon is hands down one of the best-kept secrets in Frederick. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and that professional energy carries through the entire team—from the receptionist to the shampooer, the stylists, and even the owner. I brought my daughter in, and we worked with Jaylyn and Hannah. They were both so kind and professional. What impressed me most was their ability to perfectly mirror our hairstyle ideas; they listened to exactly what we wanted, and the hair color was spot on. The salon is surprisingly affordable for the high level of service you receive. It’s the kind of place where you leave feeling so taken care of that you’re reaching for your wallet to tip, but it’s actually a no-tip salon. If you’re looking for a top-tier experience without the pretension, this is it.

  The atmosphere is upscale yet inviting. Everyone is professional and friendly. My stylist, Roxanne always makes my hair look and feel soft and silky. As a bonus, the shampoo chair has a rolling back massage option, which I always find relaxing.

  I’ve been going to Six East Salon for almost a year and have nothing but good things to say. Hanna is an amazing hair stylist and does a great job with my color and cut every time I go in. Also the best blowout I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a new salon, look no further!

  First time appointment with this lovely hair salon was such a charming antique warm decor. Warm greetings were met from Amanda, she was very welcoming & making sure I was comfortably seated before meeting with my hair stylist, Marcee, whom did a superb job on my haircut and styled so nicely.
