Unfortunately a horrible experience. I found this new location on social media and was interested because it was close to my home. While some of the massages were decent, the customer service has been awful. I have arrived for a massage and the business is locked with no staff, been rescheduled constantly (on the spot after already arriving for an appt because my massage therapist wasn’t there), and during my last massage the therapist was clearly texting during the massage. They also do not honor their membership. I have called and emailed close to ten times asking them to honor my membership credits that are in the 90 day cancellation window and haven’t gotten a response. I even disputed the charge on my credit card which the business challenged instead of contacting me. I am now compelled to go to the better business bureau and small claims court to rectify the situation. Could not dissuade anyone more from engaging with this place.

$140 for a 50 min deep tissue massage (before any tip). The masseuse asked for the spots I wanted to focus on- I told him hips and shoulder blades- I got maybe 4 minutes on my shoulder blades and 0 on the hips. Was waiting the entire time and it just never happened. Most of the time was on my legs and hands, with a lot of it being strokes with no pressure at all. If you’re like me and need a DEEP tissue massage, I can’t recommend this

My wife and I signed up for a membership and there were not only limited availability but also last minute cancellations and changes in personnel. The site also shifted policies which made using membership credits extremely difficult. Maybe individual service is fair but I would NEVER recommend signing up for a membership it’s a scam.
This was my first visit to the spa. I arrived 10 minutes early, and Victoria unlocked the doors five minutes before opening, then walked away, leaving me outside. I didn’t receive a warm welcome, as she never opened the door for me. I was momentarily shocked, standing there. When I finally entered, she avoided eye contact while explaining my appointment. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and felt unwelcoming.

This experience ruined my day. The host at the front was distracted by her phone and kept getting my name wrong. My massage was for 7pm and I was informed to arrive 15 mins early according to the reservation. I didn’t meet my massage therapist until 715. We rushed our Valentine’s Day date to be respectful of the staffs request to be on time only to wait around because you were behind schedule. All of that is forgivable if the service is good. However, when I finally met the person that was meant to serve me. He looked disheveled from his messy wet hair hanging over his eyes to the torn shoes. Again, if service is good I will over look most things. After getting my name wrong again. We went into the area to speak about what I’m looking for. He simply asked “what are we doing?” He did not explain anything. I asked him to only focus on my upper body. I listed my target areas so I could get the maximum amount of focus on those areas. I told him my shoulders and my back are currently stiff from exercise. He proceeded to begin work on me. At that point I realized how distracted I was by the amount of arm hair on him rubbing up against me. That wasn’t a pleasant experience. While doing my massage he forgot the pillow that goes under my knees until about 25 mins in. After time went on, I did not get any attention on my shoulders, or my neck. I do not understand how you could only focus solely on the upper body and not hit the neck or the shoulders that I mentioned before we started. Additionally, I paid for deep tissue and I didn’t not receive that. It was light the entire time. Then as he was switching sides he dropped something and out of his own frustration he used profanity. Needless to say this was not a pleasant experience. At the end the host took a break from her cellphone and asked if I would like to leave a tip. What happened to the water at the front? I’ve never paid for a massage and not receive, at least, an offer for water. It was very warm in the back. The tray that held the the water dispenser was gone and it only had cups and water stains on the mirror where it used to be. I politely declined a tip. I did however, tip the other massage therapist that serviced my partner. The Bethesda branch needs to learn from your Chicago location. This was a highly disappointing way to end my special day.
