- JJJimmyMar 20, 20264.0Getting to expensive. I have very fine short hair which takes about 8 minutes to cut , basically a military type haircut. People w/ much longer hair and who take much longer to cut pay the same price. When I go to NJ in Toms River to visit my brother there’s a barber there that does $10 cuts all day. Before Covid Great clips use to allow you to purchase once a year at Christmas time a gift Card that you could load w/cuts @$10.99 ea.I would buy 12 so I could get a trim once a month. Now I visit maybe every 3 to 4 months. Other than that the staff is very kind. I have been going to GC’s since 2004 I even found a location in Lexington , NC when I lived down south f/ 16 months.

I tried twice to get a simple haircut and it went from bad to worse. Thankfully my hair grows fast and I will be able to get it fixed by a professional quickly. In the meantime I’m a walking advertisement of the incompetence.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
