- AWAllison Williams1 day ago1.0I took my challenged client to the Hair Cuttery. r Her needed to be combed because she had just taken cornrows out of her hair. There was one cornrow that she forgot to take out. The stylist combed out the one cornrow. However, she did not comb the hair before shampooing it to loosen up the old parted, lose braided hair style. I knew if the stylist shampooed the hair it would tangle up even more. Once the stylist blow dryed the hair it was very dry and still was tangled. I could not put my hands through her hair. I asked, " Why did my client's hair feel so dry if she used a leave in conditioner? It should feel soft. The stylist said my client's hair needed to be trimmed and she used a detangler. The stylist went back and tried to blow dry the hair again. I was not satistified with the texture of my client's hair. I dont think the stylist was experience African American natural hair.
