  I came in the other day to buy a foundation but didn't know my shade, one of the very lovely workers, Ri, was so helpful, assisting me to find my perfect match. It was a very pleasant experience as i was approached when i entered the store and asked if i needed any assistance and she stayed to help me find exactly what i needed which i saw to be excellent customer service.

  Not a big fan of this location in particular. The staff often seem rude or annoyed when you ask for help. I once asked about a lipstick and was told, “it’s somewhere there, you have to find it yourself,” without any effort to actually help. I figured she was probably overwhelmed because the store was crowded, but still good customer service matters. I mainly go here because it’s close to me and I usually just ignore the staff as much as possible. Honestly, shopping online is probably the better option at this point.

  The only reason I’m giving two stars is because one of the associates was super nice and helped with my k18 purchase, but apart from that the experience was horrible. We went in on a Saturday and understandably it was busy. I needed help getting something and no associate was around, when I saw one coming my way I asked her for help and she made such an annoyed face and told me she’s already helping someone and can’t help me. It did not end there, all throughout while I was there, that sales associate kept giving me angry looks as if she hated me or smth. This is exactly why I shop online most of the time.

  This review is not specifically about this store, but about Sephora online Canada.The site always works terribly, but for several days now it's been so glitchy that it's impossible to order anything. I sign in my account, but the system shows i can't sign in! The page also doesnt refresh. The US version of the site works great.

  When I first arrived I was approached, told them I was looking for foundation but that I’d tried many over the years having worked in the cosmetic industry for 12 years myself. I was introduced to a lady who was working for Dior. I politely mentioned that I wasn’t interested in trying Dior as I’d reacted to it in the past, she seem adamant on showing me what they had to offer and questioning me on whether I’d tried the new formulas or not. I know my skin. I know what works and what doesn’t. She eventually sent me over to another demo working for Nars. She colour matched me but ultimately, they didn’t have what I was looking for. I understand having to promote their brand, but both brands not having what I wanted, wasted a good 20 minutes, while I could have just spoken to an unbiased employee. I was a bit irritated and then in came REMI … give that girl a raise. She was so patient and understanding of what I was looking for. Knowing I had a big event this weekend she helped me make sure I had everything checked off my list and when I mentioned a product I was looking for she didn’t hesitate on her recommendations and she nailed every single one. I will ask for her by name going forward. Thanks to her, she turned a subpar experience into a 10/10 experience. I never write reviews but this deserved one. Thanks so much Remi !
