- TBTracy BFeb 9, 20261.0I just called to make an appointment as a new customer for a partial highlight and a cut and was told that I would need to come in for a 'free' color consultation. I let them know that I was a good 40 mins away and was happy to send a picture in advance and the receptionist was dismissive saying they'd need to see my hair in advance (why?!?). It must be nice to have this level of clientele that you can turn someone away. I would welcome the opportunity for the owner to reach out to me, however I won't hold my breath. In this day and age, this is an archaic practice, and quite frankly....ridiculous. You wouldn't encounter this practice in a high end salon in Boston on NYC, so you sure shouldn't in the burbs of Springfield....
- DLDan LOct 29, 20255.0I've been coming to Puffer's to get my hair cut since around 1996. My hair is difficult to cut and Kristen does a great job and knows my personality and hair well. Services are not inexpensive, but I know for a fact that all employees receive regular continuing education and are top of the line, especially in services like color correction. I don't get makeup done myself, but I know one of their former employees now does makeup on celebrities and for fashion shows.

- CSCarrie SSep 13, 20253.0I’ve been using this salon for a dermaplaning and facials for about a year. During my visits I would see Ashely who was AMAZING! She made my 45 min r drive from CT to Mass. totally worth it, and the last visit was so amazing I fell asleep! The salon is beautiful and everyone is so nice, but sadly Ashley left the salon. Yesterday I went and was with another team member. The dermaplane was painful and I have a cut on my chin. When wrapping my hair she pulled both ear lobes down at least twice and the neck massage was so deep it was painful. Im so disappointed and sad Ashely left that I wish I knew where she went because I would start going there!
