  0/10. As a Black woman, it is extremely difficult to find stylists who are experienced with my hair type. I came to Great Clips a few months ago with low expectations, but Stephanie exceeded them. She did exactly what I asked, and for the first time in years I felt like I had found a stylist/location I could trust. This past weekend, I had a very different experience. I was seated with another stylist and clearly explained what I wanted: a slight trim, maintaining length, with shaping and a fade. Almost immediately, she began cutting my hair aggressively without giving me an opportunity to approve what she was doing. Everything happened so fast. So much hair was cut off, my hair was left much shorter than I asked, and the fade was not done at all. When I expressed that my hair had been cut too short, there was no acknowledgment or attempt to address my concern. Once I got home, I felt extremely upset not only because I disliked the result, but because I felt let down. I ended up paying for a service I did not ask for. I later contacted Stephanie hoping for understanding and/or refund but instead was met with attitude and passive aggressiveness. Very disappointed and unfortunately, I will not be returning.

  I just got a standard trim. But my hair is short n stylish. Not just regular long hanging hair. Would absolutely *not* recommend!! I left with a butcher cut. I don't know how you screw up using a clippers, but this girl did. It looks choppy, like a child or a total novice cut my hair. Usually, with a bad haircut, I can come home and touch up the problem area. This time there's no saving it. Some bits are simply butchered too short, so my options are 1. Shave my head, or 2. Wait for it to grow a bit, and then correct the chopped bits. This place is like a hairdressing school with no teacher available to oversee and guide the students.

  Absolutely terrible establishment with extremely rude stylists. My girlfriend went in for bang. To be cut a certain way and the stylist did the complete opposite of what she wanted and denied my girlfriend's idea. My girlfriend walked out hating it but didn't want to argue anymore with the stylist. She called back shortly after to ask if they could rectify the situation and do the original idea.She wanted and even spoke to one of the managers. They would not help her unless it was the same stylist who was rude and didn't help her in the first place. Do not go here if you have a specific idea in mind. They are only good with basic run of the mill haircuts. Other than that go elsewhere. I will never return here again and neither will my girlfriend. Unless you're into being belittled and having a very fake friendly experience. And also being told that you don't know what you're talking about and that it won't look good. Or just having them do what they want and completely disregarding your opinion all together.
